The U.S. Hispanic population, which officially became the largest minority in the United States in 2002, will continue in its position through 2050. In 2010, the U.S. goverment census reports over 47.8 million. U.S. Hispanics make up around 15% of the U.S. population, growing 5 times faster than the general population which is more that a 70% increase in the last 10 years.
